I bought a 07 4X4 DC tacoma 2 months ago. I thought I'd drop in and say hi.
I've been reading this forum for a while and picked up some good info already. The only mods I've done so far are: front end receiver hitch, tint all the way around, and a low pro tool box. I've got some wheels on order as I type and will post pics when installed.

Welcome! Where are you from? I see you like salt water fishing? I fish PINS.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi. I've been fishing Pins for years. But now that I own a boat and gas prices the way they are I only make it down to big shell a couple times a year. But now I've got a more economical vehicle I plan on more trips down. Now I mostly fish ULM in my boat.

How's the fishing out at St. Charles? I'll be going there this weekend, hoping to catch some trout and reds.

ST. Charles is way north of where I fish, but I have heard there are schools of black drum roaming the flats. Watch out for gators around there if you're going to do any wading.

Not to steal the thread away from fishing, but do you have any pics or any more info about the front end receiver? Have been thinking about it, but have not done any of the serious legwork on it as far as looking for one goes yet. But I figure a front end reveiver has got to make jockying the trailer around the yard a little easier.

    Thanks

    PS welcome to TacomaWorld.

I'll take and post pics tomorrow. I paid $155 from JC whitney and yes it makes manuevering trailers a whole lot easier. The main reason I bought it was to push my boat into the garage. I've got a two car garage with two individual doors so its a tight squeeze. Also use it for a rod and cooler rack attachment and I have a receiver road feeder for hunting and I'm building a crank to hoist up deer and hogs from it. The only fishing forum i'm a member of is corpusfishing.com

That's a good idea for a rod rack. This is what I have.[IMG]

That's what I'm wanting. I'm going to wait for ARB bumper then cut out and weld up a mount to it to do the same.
