I weld them about a 1/2" down and never have an issue with it hitting.

Mine are a little closer than that, but more than 1/4"

So yeah, I'd say go 1/2".

Also, it took big hits to make them strike, not ordinary "shaking" from bumps and vibration.

    Looks good Daniel!
Sliders look slightly short on the back end, I'll probably add an inch or 2 to the overall length for future orders.

    Eric,
I got the sliders and all is good.Getting them welded on hopefully this weekend.I was wanting to put some grip tape on them and wanted to have your logo cut into the tape itself.Would that be okay to use your logo?

    I want .

How big a deal is a kickout at the end of these Eric ? Also how do you adjust for vertical height prior to welding them on ? just weld the " L " piece to the outrigger at the desired height ?

    U can haz. ;):D
Kickout would be no problem, but would add $40 to the basic price. I've changed my kickouts from the 2 piece setup, to a 1 piece with it bent into the outer tube since its a little easier/quicker for me.
You're correct on mounting, the 'L' brackets are lose from the sliders when they ship and you mock em up and adjust the height as desired. I recommend about 1/2" below the body/pinch weld.
