I totally agree with this whole post, I have volunteered at a camp for mentally handicapped and they are just normal people, who may have some problems, but they still know how to love and care, they just want to be accepted, and loved. Who ever posted that comment will recieve Neg rep from me too. Have some respect.

I find this kind of two sided. The first part seems like your giving reason for the beating but the second part you go and defend mentally incapable people.

Idk maybe its how I read it but all through hs I helped the special needs kids and it really does change you as a person. They are sometimes difficult to work with but rewarding when you can adapt.

the bad part is they are so fucked up they will probably like it. i say give them to the families and them have them for a few hours. that is about the only time i could ever imagine doing shit like that is pay back for what they did. i swear to god if anyone ever hurt my family i would probably loose it and do some fucked up shit to them. then again they would deserve it.

Sorry. It might have been the way I wrote it more than how you read it.
I was in no way, shape or form defending blyth and his students. I was merely stating that that was most likely there reason for acting the way they did. They were well of the incidents that the mentally handicapped individual had been in and the trouble he caused in the neighborhood.
They probably would never have even encountered or confronted the man had he not stepped into blyths dojo. As a matter of fact, before anything even happens you can tell blyth is mocking him a tad by questioning "who" appointed him 10th deg red belt and some of the other questions he was asking him.
The guy certainly wasn't "retarded" or even mentally handicapped from what I could tell. He may have been a few cards short of a full deck and a vagrant but that was about it.

And not sure of any formal training but he did seem to hold his own for a little bit and actually cause the other guy to lose his composure and form. You can hear him saying "motherfucker" and he just loses it. Reverts mostly to street tactics instead of his karate style.
