    that's what i figured. im kinda laggin on the whole changing the top end ever 10-20 hours.. im on hour.. 60 or 70? :eek:

    meh,10-20 is way overkill IMO. around 50-60 is good so you should probably change that out lol. Does it have a stock cast piston in it right now?

    all my friends say to do it then but i dont haha. well story about the motor is the last time my bike chipped the cylinder when i broke a ring going off a jump. some how made it alive. but i ended having to get a new cylinder and i ordered a wisico piston from motosport.com. i think that is the reason why it is still lasting so long. its got a fresh cylinder and piston. also put in a new clutch not to long ago. just remembered that :p i need to stop riding my 250 and start fartin around on this baby i miss it!:headbang:

    that weisco is forged so at least it won't grenade. Still you will get a pretty good power boost by changing it out. My old KX125 felt like a whole new bike after I did the top end

    pretty heavy hit on the wallet.. it was about 400 for parts. luckily my friend said as long as i have the parts he'll do it for free. (he races late models and modified on dirt tracks so i trust him) once i have about 120 just collecting dust ill put it towards a new piston then itll be fresh again :) what im idealy wanting to do is get just a dune bike. my cousins have like a 96 rm250 that they have sitting in there backyard. after i sell my pig ill offer them like 800 for it and see what happens. if i get that, my family will own 3 bikes for pretty much one person.. my dad hardly rides anymore. i hope we dont sell the 125 :rolleyes: we'll see though.
