Donner may be a little bit of a drive but you could always set up and then head over? And depending on what time your actually going to get there you could meet us a boca and wheel a little then head back to donner?

I am checking my calendar, but pretty sure that I am going to come to this. I will make reservations at the Donner site so I can park my camper and also have the shower for my wife. Sounds like a good spot. I will update you on my camp site when I make the reservation. I am putting sliders on my rig in the next three weeks so I should make most of the trails. I only have a 2 inch lift with stock size tires, but have wheeled for several years now, so long as there are good spotters I am hoping all goes well. Thx.

You should be fine with a 2" lift and sliders I did Eagle Lakes with stock tires and a 3" lift with no sliders and never even came close to my rockers. For every hard line there is a bypass so a stock truck can make it on that trail with some spotting.

Those of you riding along with others or those of you who have people riding with you, I would like to have 3-4 designated spotters with a good head on their shoulders. If you think you are up for the task or your passenger is please let me know. we will make sure those people have hand held radios. You will be required to help spot everyone when we hit obstacles.

FRS will be our main mode of communication. If you do not have radios I would suggest picking up a set. Some of us will have extra FRS radios and im sure most will be happy to loan them out, but please don't count on them. I like to have a lot of communication on the trails, this is how we make sure everyone has a Safe and Fun experience.

I really don't know Ive never ran the trail there is a easy way and a hard way. The easy way is rated as a 4 on the TTORA page and the hard way :notsure: I'll tell you when i get to the top :D. But I think that day the less modified trucks might be taking the easy way and the guys with some armor can take the hard way and we all meet at the top. I'll read some more in my book because it lists the hard way I'm thinking sliders and one locker might be needed.

Edit: The Bear Valley trail is rated a 4 as well and if that trail was dry when we ran it i would of been boring i had to look for the harder lines because it was not challenging enough.
