Jason (strom-) and I were working on something. It has been in planning for over a year. I'll talk to him and see what the update and eta of it is.

 

I have been struggling with the upgrades of the forum. Sorry all! Totally frustrating doing all that work and then the forum upgrade blows it all away .

Anyway, I have both norcaltacomas.com and norcaltoyotas.com, but I guess I need to look into a less buggy forum.

So I got the okay from Jason to leak some information.

We (mainly Jason) have been in the works of creating something like this for awhile for the Nor Cal area. Set up wheeling events, teach the basics and etiquette of off-roading and just have a friendly atmosphere for all the locals to meet and hang out.

Our ideas that we wanted to put forth sounded very similar to those of an already existing community: Canada Toyota 4WD Association. (CT4WD.com)



So we contacted them and its been in the works for about a year now. Instead of just a Nor Cal 4wd association, Freeze (Nathan) and the other lead members of CT4WD wanted to create United States Toyota 4WD Association (UST4WD). There will be sub sections for different regions of the United States and there will be a core team for each to head their corresponding divisions.

So TTORA without the attitude??? I'm just looking for one place to consolidate the norcal toyota people. I post events on norcalFJs, here, and havnt even scratched the surface of toyota120. There are a lot of us who are across all these boards with different toyotas.

That's cool. I have been a fan of that Website and I'm glad to see one that is up and coming for the US.
