I have to thank Jim for giving me a hand although I had to pull them back lose again and change the bushing locations on the lower connection. Total 4.5 hours. Only 1 hour to remove the old, the rest was trying to get the lower arms down low enough to get these monsters in.

You're gay Brian! But at the same time wanted to know if you wanted to hit up Monte Sano this weekend on one of their harder trails.. Also i ordered someone's used Front forks so i'm going to ride stock then swap to see the difference! LOL!

BTW.. Looks good! A little high though so you might have to do your rear sooner then you thought! ALSO.. TAKE THAT DAMN SWAY BAR OFF!! LOL! You'll notice a huge difference!

It is actually pretty even, but I haven't even measured it yet. It hasn't moved since I put it down off the jack stands. I tried to bounce it a few times, and she is definately stiff right now. She will settle in a few days.

I'm talking with Tanya now and posted the pics while I was talking to her. She had to step away for a moment, so free typing time. Yes, I plan to try it without the swaybar, but I want to feel it with just the shock change. I try it with the duratracs. Then drop the sway bar. Wheel a little, then change back to stock without sway.

They are set at 2 inches. I had the tsb done on the rear and didn't change anything else on it yet. I'll check it out and then figure out what to do with the rear. I would like to do a flip on the rear spring mounting bracket and I plan to flip the u-bolts on the axles.

I had to undo the spindle on the upper arm to get the damn things on. The extended travel on them made it difficult to get them in the mounting bracket on the lower arm. Jim helped with that the first time, but as I was putting the swaybar back on, noticed we had the bushings mounted backwards and had to pull it all back apart again. Did it the second time by myself. It was interesting how to hold the spindle up but yet get the shock lined up to get the bolt back in it. Ended up using a computer geeks best friend... zip ties!

Absolutely. What a mechanic can fix with duct tape, we can fix with zip ties. :D

Kyle, forgot to reply about Sunday. I would like to go. Let me see if Bianca can go to church with one of her friends and we can schedule it.

I do have an older solid frame bike I've taken up there, but christina and I are going to be getting her brother-in-laws sweet taurus so I have a car to take to work.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
exactly what I used to hold the spindle too haha. Then had the gf stand on the lower a-arm and jump so I could get the bottom of the shock in. The bushings on the lower a-arms are pretty mean. I've been doing some research on coil dampening rates and influence of bushings...Bushings provide almost 30 percent of the dampening on the system we are testing.

Hey guys, been following this thread for a while now, got some pretty cool trucks and suspension setups. If I get the opportunity I would like to stop by the cookout if ya'll don't mind.
By the way, I try to mtn bike at least once a week, so maybe we can get a ride in sometime.

Speaking of wanting a big turnout for the meet. Has it been posted on other Tacoma forums as well? May be a bit to late if it hasn't, but would be cool to have 30+ Taco's there.

I'll likely be driving up from the Montgomery area also. I'm down there nearly every weekend. Eclectic to be exact.

I'll probably be heading up a few days before the meet. Gotta spend some time with the family before summer semester starts.

Yeah man you're probably next door to all of us! Just come on by! It's going to be a blast! Well i'm trying to get Brian to go riding this weekend so if you're down to that would be great!

I haven't posted anywhere else but let us know on here because the other places don't pull up well here at work. So if somebody wants to post this up pn another website that would be great! Even you Matt.. Some of your 4Runner buddies! Just let me know so i can get a head count on food and stuff for the meet and The more people the more food which means i'll need to get a bigger pot!

Also let me know if you are bringing any kind of specialized tools so i can put it on the list..

If anyone is wanting to do an in cab outlet mod let me know and i can pick up some outlets perfect for this mod at a little over a dollar a piece (i think) If you're local they are at Mock's electronic beside "The Rock" Baptist Church.
