    Vancouver almost blew it. If they would have lost game 7 I would have been convinced that the President's trophy is cursed.

    Make no mention that there was no penalty on the play.
    Make no mention that Steckel's body was not positioned/braced for a check.
    Make no mention that every commentator outside of Pittsburgh said it was accidental.
    Make no mention that Steckel has zero history of dirty play.
    Make no mention that Crosby played after this game, only to be put out for good by another team.
    Make no mention that the NHL did review it and said no further punishment was needed.

    Nobody should want to see such a pivotal player get hurt, and I feel for Pens fans for having Crosby and Malkin out, but sure, blame the Caps. Whatever gets you through the day.
