    but this 4wd drive conversion Im looking at wouldnt be that much more

    Well I explained I wanted to look for some 4x4 parts
    that'd bolt into my preunner, inspiration here,

    Yah...You dont need to swap UCU's to do a 4x4 swap. Many folks have done it, and its cheaper than trading and buying a 4x4.
