I hope so. The ep looked awesome and had great reviews so I am excited to see if the talon is really better or at the very least lives up to the same rep.

Just wanted to post the pictures of the tubing I used for the snorkel. A few guys on here were using exhaust pipe but I kept it all stock and used this. My reason was it was nice a clean, kept all the water out, and also kept the ability to shed heat.

I got my last upgrade ordered today so hopefully everything will be on the truck in may. I decided to go with the 510 Piaa yellow ion fog lights. I had previously had the driving light version in the 520 size and absolutely loved them. In snow and rain and even fog they made all the difference in the world on several of our trips. Being that I removed my stock fogs I decided I wanted to run these. I have also ordered a custom switch that will be used in place of the PIAA version. I am not a fan of the one they use. Pics will follow soon.

Also I have my arb compressor switch up for sale if any one is interested. $15 shipped.

After reading this build thread and sharing it with my girlfriend, I think I am going to steer my build - hopefully to begin this summer - towards a similar concept. I've wanted to get back outdoors, and I think this will be a great way for us to do it together (and a great excuse to spend money on my truck).

I'm looking forward to reading how your build progresses, and how your epic overland trip goes. All the best.

Thank you. I have worked really hard to get this truck as capable as possible for satisfying my families needs. Its a fun process and your going to love it. I am lucky because my girlfriend is just as in to it as I am most the time and we love this truck!

Well I had a little bit of bad luck with my set up today and will be removing a few items and going back to the drawing board. My winch arrived also so I should have pics up in a week.

The bad news: I found out that my dual battery set up will only fit if I remove my Cold Air Intake, mostly because not enough room due to how large the intake box is. I am going to relocate my compressor and tank and figure out something on the intake. I ordered the necessary parts from Toyota to do the mod and will post up my results hopefully on Saturday.

Also due to my recent stuck, my wheels have been mangled. Not a bad thing because I have been wanting to run a different tire set up for summer and the tire set up I have currently I want to run for winter only. So I am going to try and figure things out on the wheels front. I have a few quotes on a 16" wheel I like that is cheap but nothing solid. I would really like to do either 255 or 285 16's for summer and run a 285 17 or 295 17 during winter that has been studded.

You can fit dual batteries in the stock location. It's a tight squeeze but if you have a custom battery box made you shouldn't have to move the fuse box. I had to move mine cause I bought some universal metal boxes.

What group are those 34,35,36? My stock battery is huge now I am wondering how you fit both those in that location? I would prefer not to have to change out my CAI and compressor because I like the location I have them in for now. I am adding a tank this summer and was going to relocate the compressor then but if I dont have to then shit....
