    It's all in my head at the moment...
    Been like this for years in Europe. When I was stationed in Amsterdam in the mid-late 80's, you could get fuel at rest areas on the highway. No attendant, you just put in your bills like a Coke machine and them pump what you paid for. Exact amount though. If you put a ($20) in, you better hope it held $20 or the profit margin was just upped.

    Also had machine like that where you pay for your BigMac/Whopper and then went to the window and picked it up.

    Good find.
