They are taking you for a ride. Make sure you talk to a mechanic not a service representative. Yes you can use a spring compressor. But if youre not 100% confident - don't. Keep trying around for small mechanic shops, most expensive i found was $120, cheapest was $50. But that was the difference between talking to someone at the front desk and an actual mechanic. Make sure there is no miscommunication. This is a 10 minute job. I do not see how shop rates would be $211 for this.

Yerp. But AAA gave me almost $5k in the settlement, at it was a 4-banger DX with 200k miles, so I got a nice upgrade out of the deal!

...and then it would look like her truck got a boob job...

they are fiberglass, not plastic and the manufacturer recommends finishing them up somehow. paint was the way to go. it didn't matter to me because I hate cleaning the black plastic pieces and I really like the look of the matched flares.

i did consider that actually

Got my billie 5100s and 5125s today. (good deal from a member on here) :woot:With the 5125s I got a 8.13" travel for the driver side and a 8.60" for the passenger. Are these long enough for when I get some allpro expedition leafs which have give 3-4 inches of lift? If not, will shock extenders fix the problem? Thanks guys.
