How old is it? Probably time for a replacement.

A battery is a battery. They go bad whether it's Android or iOS.

I went from IPhone 3G to Atrix. Had to order a replacement the second day. The Speaker Phone, no one could hear you. So I got a new and it crashed 2 days later and then crashed again. I prefer a phone I can actually use as a phone when needed. I went back to the IPhone. IPhone 4 32 gig. I am very happy with it.

The speakerphone (Call volume in general, actually) was a bug in the first official release of the Atrix's software... They've since fixed that.

I can't speak for the other crashes, but every phone has its quirks. Apple just has less to deal with, since they have a small handful of handsets they have to develop for and test. Also, their environment is such a walled garden, you don't have to worry much.

It's unfortunate you got caught up with the bugs, as Android phones are largely stable, reliable devices. But just like comparing PCs to Macs you have to take into account varying hardware, device drivers, etc.

Plus, AT&T has a habit of dumping a ton of third-party crap onto their phones, delaying software updates horribly. The majority of the US carriers are like this, unfortunately.

Thankfully, Android has plenty of developers that make that issue a moot point.

    You don't want to know...
Depends on what you are looking for.

Nobody can touch the build quality and stability of Apple.

I personally need and use the functionality of the androids. For example, I can download any file or program I want(including windows .exe files) and save them to the internal memory. Mount the phone as usb drive, and transfer it where needed.

I can download files, compress them into a zip file and email them...The list goes on.

There are so many things that can be done with androids that can't be done on a IPhone. If you just want stability and ease of use, stick with the IPhone.

AT&T has actually been pretty good with the Atrix updates. There's been one already (about 1 month after it was released) and another is coming out this month. I've had no issues with mine.

Except for the locked bootloaders... the vast majority of ROM/Kernel developers have abandoned the Atrix ship due to Motorola's lockdown. Which is sad, because prior to the Galaxy S II, I ***REALLY*** wanted one! :(

That's a Motorola issue, not an AT&T one. But yeah, there's really not much the devs can do about it. I've been following it on XDA-Developers.com. I've heard more and more phones are going to be moving to that type of lockdown. I think Motorola is also checking for rooted phones when pushing updates. It's too bad because they look like they can do a lot of cool stuff once they get them opened.
