Just had my first solo today. I have been taking flying lessons for about a month and had my first solo this morning. It was probably the scariest thing that I have ever done but after it was over it felt so good.

That's great man. I had my first solo when I was around your age. Learning how to fly was a great experience. I never got my certificate, but I wish I had. Stick with it if it's something you like and good luck with the exams.

instrument is a little far down the line. I want to fly for the coast guard so I would probably earn the military version but yea I love flying.

Thanks everyone. Just thought I would share.

Congrats on throwing a plane around the sky and getting it back down again!!

    AND
    HECK YEAH- FLY COAST GUARD!!!

I've probably offered before- but if you have any questions- Let me know.

And IDK if you are spending money on your lessons or not- but if you are- You'll get all the training you need if you get into flight school- So concentrate on getting good grades at school and figure out your route to join the CG and then go from there.
