    alright guys laugh away! i honestly did not even know what to do. i do know that you do the () first! but after that, i was puzzled. wow. at least i was honest. my oldest daughter had to come over and explain it to me. NOW THATS PATHETIC. :)

    Same rules apply, following PEMDAS, and going to left to right (in this case, division is still before multiplication top to bottom) you still divide 6 by 2. Therefore you get 3(3) which is 9.
