    The problem with this question and dealing with it on the internet is we don't know if the / between the 6 and the 2 is a division sign or a fraction sign. Technically the answer is both. If it's a division sign then it's a 9 because you do division/multiplication from left to right. If it's a fraction sign then you do everything on the denominator which is 2x(1+2)=2x(2+4)=6. Now once you have a whole number in the denominator you reduce your fraction, so 6 for the numerator, and 6 as the denominator reduced equals 1.

    I understand that no one will even read this though since it's too long of a post for this thread.
