    Okay Okay...I figured out what the deal is. I started trolling this thread because the original poster linked it on HIS facebook account as a follow on to HIS facebook question regarding the equation.

    His facebook looks like this: 6 (division sign) 2(2+1)

    Then his tacomaworld post looks like this: 6/2(2+1)

    They are two different equations.

    I've been rambling on about his facebook equation, never bothering to look at the equation he posted on tacomaworld.

    If you punch in 6 (division sign) 2(2+1) into myalgebra.com, you get 1

    If you punch in 6/2(2+1) you get nine. Because 6/2 is an improper fraction equaling 3...distribute the 3 and you get 9.

    Try it out because you will see that they are two totally different equations. You have to click the division sign up tool up on the top header to make it look right.
