greasy food. a triple cheese burger from McD's and a large fry and a real coke, not diet. i've been so hung over i gag every time i talk, and choking down a cheese burger was teh hardest thing ever, but 10 minutes later you feel like a million bucks

Pancakes, bacon, and fried eggs over easy, lots of water, and gatorade.

Personally if I take any Advil, tylenol, etc, or caffeine with a hangover I will puke within minutes gauranteed.

Drink lots of water before you go to bed, also try not to go to bed drunk. This great concept called self control allows me to stop drinking a few hours before going to bed.

Also change the beer you drink. Shitty beer (bud light, miller light, coors light, etc) gives me awful hangovers. In fact I actually get a headache within minutes of drinking it. But I can pound good beer all night and feel just fine.

Lately though I have noticed I'm getting hangovers even after only having 2-3 beers the night before and not even getting drunk. I'm wondering if I'm building some sort of allergy?? I think it's also because I'm getting older and can't drink like I could when I was 21-22.

good advice, but i think the beer argument must vary from person to person. i feel more shitty the night after drinking good beer than i do cheap stuff. cheap stuff i can pound all night, but good stuff eventually gets to me.

I get up for work at 4am no matter what. Fluids are the key. I start with pedialite for nutrients followed with some gatorade to make me a little more thirsty and water for the rest of the day. I am ready to go by 11 am.

Best cure for a hangover is this:

    GREEN CHILE!

Also, drink the biggest glass of water that you can, right before you go to bed.

    Advil, and lots of it.

Wilderness EMT and World Health Org. rehydration solution:

1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking soda (b/c you are also acidotic) and 2-3 tbs sugar/honey into a nalgene or similar 1L bottle of water

One or two of these should do the trick..But 1/2 strength gatorade also works well

From there you can get some food in you followed up by NSAIDs (ibuprofen, tylenol..) and a multivitamin (do not take pills w/o food - bad for the tummy)

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
For Jersey guys a good pork roll, egg, and cheese is a miracle worker. Not crappy ass taylor ham or any of those imposters, real pork roll. I hear it's impossible to get in other states though and no other states I've ever visited had it.

I'm glad hollandite said "or similar 1L bottle of water" it saved me from having to Google what the hell a nalgene is.
