    Just looking for peoples opinion on this before I paint my bowl...(AFTER A PROJECTOR RETROFIT)
    any downfalls, pros or cons etc.....

    If you are talking about what i think you are. IE the main reflector. DO NOT PAINT IT---- UNLESS.. you are doing a projector retrofit. if you are not putting in a projector then painting it would cut your light output down to almost nothing considering that is what reflects all the light out onto the road.

    As I understand the projectors don't rely on the reflector bowl to direct the light, in fact a reflective bowl may to a very small degree compromise the sharpness of the projector by scattering any light it does see.

    I voted dont paint it cause I know a couple of guys with the BHLM/retros and painted their bowls black and they said it was just to much black and not enough contrast. Thats why I didnt paint mine.

    thats what I was thinkin... I might paint it all dark grey instead or maybe half the bowl to make it look like a eyelid or somethin

    I just completed my retro about a month ago and I chose to paint every thing black and I think it looks bad ass but thats my opinion. I have seen both options and I debated over the same thing but in the end its up to you and what you think looks best.

    I think im gonna paint the shit out of it... and probably the shroud too... im guessing i can paint it all the way to the top and leave the inside crome??
