    I'm thinking about painting my wheels a dark silver sort of like the TRD Anthracite made for the FJ or the color of some of the Nissan Frontier wheels along with having the tires turned around so the whiteletters don't show. Along with black out all of the chrome on the truck except for the toyota emblem in the grille. AND some Halo/Blacked out headlights.

    Does anyone wanna tackle that?

    i'm thinking now . . halos are probably a no go . . . BHLM instead probably
    and i was thinking something more like a dark gunmetal on the wheels, what you have on there is closer to a dark brown/dried mud color. (That's what i'm seeing at least)

    ^^ Yeah, that's the problem w/ mimicking Anthracite - so many shades (green, blue, brown, grey, etc). It was taken directly from some anthracite wheels. No worries, though, it's an easy fix.
    This updated one is more grey for the gunmetal you were going for. ^^

    can some one help me out, im tryin to invent a rear bumper i haventsee b4

    ok, so i wanted to try and draw up my crazy thinking, but i just count get it right.

    what i want is like one of the prerunner baja tube bumper thing, but on my rear bumper if u get what i mean, i was gona hav to remove my hitch if thias is even possible and i would need someone to help me fab it up.

    so i give the pics i was working off and see if some one can work their magic :D, thanks

    so the bumper on the black fj, just picture it with out the hoop on the top of the tube,
    and can u picture how some time ppl take off the rear bumper and just puts one strait tube across,
    now picture the fj bumper with out the hoops again, it would just have a strait tube across the front with the skid going down
    now picture that same front tube bumper, and i just took off the fj(with out the hoops)
    and i placed the top tube of the front fj bumper, across my rear bumper and i made the skid go towards the the leafs.

    hopfully that made sense to u, but one more thing,

    u see the blue ranger how it has the rear bottom bedsides cutt off, now picture that sorta angled cutt on a tacoma,

    then we put "My Made Up Bumper, and we put it on the tacoma,

    so that the tube would be my bumper and the skid would follow the cutt off bedsides lines, and we attached the skid and the cutt offs together so it was all flush and fit with none off hanging past the bedsides.


    wow sry that was kinda long, i tought of it last night when i was driving and it just hooked on me and been tryin to find mounting points under my bed and i found some that i could make work, i dont have a faber or anything like that yet.

    but i think i might run into problems with the leafs and when i go off roading things and mud could get stuck in between the inside of the backwards skid and under my bed, if u get what im saying
