I want to take my front license plate off because it would look so much cleaner. But ive heard many stories of people getting pulled over for it

    Whats everyones input on it?

What input? You either do it or you don't. If you do it and you get ticketed, no whining.

If you are supposed to have it, then leave it on or don't whine/cry if you get a ticket.

I got a ticket for no front plate awhile back. Since then I just left the front plate on, not worth the hassle of a ticket.

I put a license plate frame around the front one to blend the colors and edges with the truck. I would recommend a black one that is plain

But of course. Common highway courtesy be damned!! I shall use no turn signals as I cut people off, sending them careening into the ditch!!

I haven't had a license plate on the front of my truck for 16 years; no pullover , no ticket. But if I am, it is my own fault. Do or don't, your choice brother:D:D

Well Derek you are in Cali, & you know the vehicle code here calls for a front plate so I guess you just roll the dice & hope you don't get pulled over, but I agree about it looking cleaner without it...;)

I live in a 2 plate state and hate having front license plate but being hassled about it isn't worth the risk. If you don't want to have a front plate A) deal with it B) run the risk of getting pulled over C) contact your state senator about getting the two plate thing removed or D) move to a state that doesn't require 2 license plates.

I almost got a ticket from taking the license plate off the bumper... I went 50mph in a 35pmh zone. Beaverton has a lot of those vans with the camera that takes pictures of you and the license plate... Anyways, at the time I got hit by one of those vans my license plate wasn't on my front bumper so no ticket for me. A couple days later a cop pulled me over for having my plate on the dash in the cab.. Haha.

    ...too much shit to list.
CA sucks for rediculous tickets. I got pulled over two weeks ago on the way to a Hollister meet, and for the first time, I wasn't doing anything wrong. CHP lit me up and I drove away with four fucking fix it tickets.
    1) No front plate
    2) Tint on driver/passenger front windows
    3) Tinted tail lights
    4) Tinted rear license plate cover.

$25 fix it ticket for each.
I'm still running no front plate tho. Hate the way it looks on the prerunner bumpers.

I ran my Mustang, Miata, and Intrepid without, all for the same reason as you - looked much cleaner without.

The rule, as mentioned above, is no whining if you know it's against the law, choose to do it anyway, and get a ticket.

Now that my son's driving the Intrepid, I put the plate back on because I don't want him to have any reason to be pulled over.

You know they are all against the law, you have no right to complain. Run legal and you won't get "lit up" with four tickets.
