Yeah i know, it'll last longer than OT most probably, but eventually the score wont be equal at the end of an added period, and that team wins lol. But yeah i get what your saying, I just find OT a bit too abrupt, and not really a fair way to win a game. You know what I mean?

I'm not disagreeing with you because I like to argue, but I think it brings out the best in the players. They all need their discipline to be in check, and to be working hard for that last goal. They need to play smarter than they did in regulation for that last goal. Sure you will have your "luck" come in to play from time to time, but if you don't like OT then play that much harder in regulation.

 

That's very true. That makes a lot of sense. Especially the last line, can't argue that. haha

they outplayed them in every aspect,except maybe in goal

 

First off did everyone see that push that Howard gave to Pavelski? I think Pavelski was trying to slow down and got pushed onto him. You see players all the time attack the net and get pushed onto the goalies but I definitely don't think it was deserved of a roughing penalty, your thoughts?

Last, pretty unsportsmanlike for Stuart to throw his stick at the end.

Maybe it's just me being biased towards SJ, oh well

 

In the end the goal is what they need.

 

the nhl needs to get their shit straight...that call was garbage..no penalty should of been called in my opinion. just a guy going hard to the net and the goalie took the bait...the offsetting penalties is nonsense.

 

Best I could tell, Pavs was called for the punch/shove he gave to another player after Howard started shoving him... still BS, but maybe the refs were trying to send a message.

I love the OT wins. What are you going to do: just keep playing indefinitely? You have to create a tie breaker so make it sudden death, but 5 on 5 for twenty minutes is as close as you can get to regulation. Complaing after that point detracts from either team regardless. "Oh that victory wasn't as meaningful cause it was overtime." Bullshit. Even if you don't like the team that won, the other team still lost the game. Don't take that away from either team.
