    I have a couple of 3.5 ton shackle on the front of my bumper and want to know if these are going to be strong enough when towed out of a ditch?

    whats the recommended size?

    As long as you truck can still run no problems!
    But if you can't turn the tires and are in clay type mud the truck can seem several time heavier than it really is. Have seen a 3" recovery strap break under these conditions rated at 27000 lbs.
