They make 16" moto's, but I think you'll have issues finding one that will clear the calipers.

Some models come in 16 and some don't, which style you looking for? Ordered mine from 4WheelParts store with a price match from a website (don't remember which) for about $120/each. I have 17in 957B.

4WheelParts has them on sale. They have the MO951s for $113 each and the MO955s for $109 each. If there's a store near you, you can get them shipped free to the store.

I'm trying to help my son buy some rims for his 2002 Tacoma. I'm getting different stories as to what will or will not fit. 4-Wheel Parts says that there are no 16" wheels that will clear the calipers. Telling me to go to 17", but then the tires get more expensive. Yet, it seems that some people have not had issues with a 16" rim. Anyone know if the Moto Metal 951's in a 16" X 8" or 9" will work? I'd appreciate any help you can offer. BTW- the truck has a 4" lift and he is going to a 305/70/16 M/T tire. Thanks.

On a 2002 Tacoma any 16 inch wheel will fit, 15's fit on pre-2005 Tacomas. The problems are with the 05+ trucks

That seemed to be a very popular wheel choice last year.
Moto Metal 951 16" will fit on a 02 and a lot of people have them on 2nd gens also, most were told they wouldn't fit, but they actually do. 4WP doesn't seem to pay attention to the details between 1st-2nd gens and 5 luggers when they give out fitment info unless you get someone who is into the Tacos.

I am running 955's on mine 16X8 with a lift, words of advice, the prices have gone up due to Alum costs. It took me a long time on the phone and web just to get one (1) wheel.
Search around on the web, I found the best deals will have the shipping added. And I have seen one wheel run $108 to $275 not counting shipping.

The 957 dont come in 16's, the 17x9's are 6/5.5, 4.5" backspace, -12mm offset. The 951's were a popular choice in 16's- 16x8, I think those are 6/5.5, 4.5" backspace, 0mm offset, no hub centric. I think there are a few with 956's around here also. Good luck with your choice.

Longbow, what are the specs on your 955's? If I wanted to order you exact rims do I need to just state I want the 955's in a 16x8 that will fit a Taco or do I need to give backspacing info?

Any help would be appreciated. I want my wheels and tires to mimic your ride. Very clean, very nice. :)

hate to revive and old thread but i have the 951 16x8 and in 2 posts above me kristen mentions they arent hub centric. could this be the reason for my steering wheel vibrations as well as my trucks body vibrations? should i look into getting a hub centric wheel and seeing if that rids me of the vibs?
