Who rides? Who stunts? Who cruises?

just picked up a 2002 cbr 600 f4i on saturday!
Rode it 3 hours home and got 43mpg going 80-85 most of the way! killer on the back though haha!

 

Here is some riding, a little stunting, but definitely no crusing!

I raced 600s and 750s for a while but back in 09 most of the sponsorship and support dried up and it was just too tough to be competitive without it. I still have a 600 race bike with street plastics, but it hardly ever gets ridden.

I was thinking about doing a few rounds this year, but this site pretty much has my whole budget shot!

MXNborder, that F4i is sweet. My first street bike two decades ago was an F4. Loved it!

 

yeah dude i'm stoked I got it from my friends dad for 2600 with jacket and gloves and its smooth. i was going to get an r6 but i'm glad i got this instead!

In in the SFV near the 405/101. You? I had an R6, too, when they first came off the boat in the late '90's. Great bike, more for the track (at the time). F4i is more of an all-around bike.

Getting my bike all ready for the season. I have a week before my first ride. I might take the Carb off and do a little rebuild kit. Anyone do that?

 

Yeah, I love my new Thruxton. Went through the F4, R6, R1, Harley, etc. Am heading out on a trip, but let's ride when I get back in a few weeks, k?

 

In addition to teaching MSF for the state of PA, I also like the long road trips.

3 other friends and I spent 9 days and 3500 miles cruising Nova Scotia in 2008, Only did 6 days riding PA/NY in 2009 and unsure for this summer. Day rides are OK, but are usually pretty boring. Since my wife is an FO for US Airways, I try to hook up with her for an overnight as frequently as possible. Nothing like riding 4-8 hours, then having a nice evening with the wife. Oh, did I mention that hotel sex is the bomb!

Yikes! I wouldn't strap it down on the hand grips like that. Use the hook and connect it around the bar closer to the triple tree.

 

Yeah also those front shocks are compressed pretty heavily!!

Might want to lighten up on them, how much?

I dropped the price of mine after seeing others hahaha

Those handlebar straps are supposed to be closer to the triple tree though.

They dont fit over the controls. Promise you, they are where they go.
