I know the feeling man, i got out of the service with a drinking problem too, i was polishing a jim beam black label a night or a 12pk a night about 4 nights a week. Then threw in some female problems and that didnt make it any better... let alone i was overseas, didnt have my truck, or dirtbike (my two main stress relievers) Since i started working in Iraq for the DOD we cant drink over here, and i was here 2 days after separation. It was hard at first but in my eyes it was the best way to break my drinking habit. I still really enjoy a nice glass of Johnny Walker Blue or Crown. But i keep it to where im coherent and know what im doing.

I had an incident awhile back where i headbutted someone and things got rough, but after a couple of months of anger therapy  I have really learned how to handle it.... better. Normally need a drink to calm me down but i try not to resort to violence anymore. My friends always say they never wanna see me snap haha.

Ive been starting to stocking up my armory, looking to build an AR here soon, i love going out and shooting varmint, gives me a good rush. Ive been looking at an Aprilia Dorsoduro 750, they are set up like motorcross/ motard bikes, ive riden one and they are extremely comfortable to me. Im also looking at a honda VTX 1300 or something similar as a cruiser... that would keep me out of trouble a little better, but i havent decided yet. We will see when i give them a ride when i get home.

That is my other great stress reliever. I have a Remington 700 in .300 Win Mag that I use for target shooting. I really haven't enjoyed hunting much since I came home - but I really enjoy making the steel ring at long distances. I'm still working on building my rig though. If all goes well, my yearly bonus will go straight into upgrading my rifle.

My dad has a 300win mag that i use all the time, that thing is a beast and can withstand anything... it fell off the front of the four wheeler one day at the lease and i ran over it... shot a 10pt about 2hrs later with it haha.

I know its not a big gun, but my dream build is a FN herstal FAL 308. Those suckers are expensive as heck but oh man they are probably my favorite gun out there. Aside from Barret's of course  Now that i think about it, i may call off the AR and start building the FAL, i just bought a 270 i can use until then.

A .50... I almost bought one the day I ordered my .300 WM. The dealer was a real prick and didn't want "kids" touching the gun. He wouldn't let me handle it; said that was reserved for serious buyers only and went back to ignoring me. I went out to my truck, got my blue bank bag with $4k in it and showed him the sale he just lost. I'm kinda glad I didn't get it then because there are only a few places out here to shoot a rifle that big. I like my .300 WM and can't wait to order my B&C A5 stock for it.

Nice choice on the stock. The 300 is a great gun, ive killed manya deer with it and a hog. Yea i cant wait to buy the bike, im gonna walk in in flip flops and look kinda rugged, try to get a bad response and when i find the one i want, try to get them down on the price and then bust out a sack of cash. Ive always wanted to do that.

Thanks man, i cant wait to get together at the meet and have a good time with yall.

Either way I think some of the people out in the main forum need a serious nut check. If you don't like their rig or disagree with their choice in paint color the vags come out and get twisted. I'm not advocating the use of the n word... but I'm tired of all this BS racial sensitivity.

    I agree

But there are people on this thread that get way to touchy with things. I try to be a pretty polite guy on this thread, mainly because i learn alot and i like the people. Although this thread has cost me 10k+ on my truck . Some dude had the nerve to call me out in a thread as a "mall crawler" and a douche because i had mudd tires offroad bumpers, a winch and N-fabs. Shit like that to me is uncalled for. But i didnt get all butthurt and start a shitting match in a new thread over it to get him banned. Of course he was from Cali tho

It is funny with all the "mall crawler" crap getting tossed around out there. I bought a 2wd truck knowing it is a 2wd. That doens't stop me from flooring it up/through what I have to when out in the pastures. I have never really considered four wheeling a thing... but damn some of these guys really get their nut off on it.
