Well I submitted a request for my replacement wheels today.... Keeping things on the dl until I find out if they are in stock. Wont know until Monday....

I am currently without spare because of my wheel tire set up. I have to get a wheel with the correct offset and backspacing so I can run a spare tire but I want to run a different set for summer. I really like the 17x9 285's for winter but for summer I want a little less wheel. I am looking in to running either a 285 or 255 depending on the price I can find. Here are the wheels I am currently looking at. I would do either a 16x8 or 16x9 in one of these styles.

Check out Pacific Wheel. They do wholesale to the public. There website kinda weird but you can call or go to there store off Mill and Rock. Discount actually gets some of there wheels from them as well.

I talked to Eric about it and I think if the alignment doesn't eliminate my rubbing this could be part of a couple different things that will fix it.

Nothing wrong with more rubber between the wheel and the road.

    You get your winch yet?

Ya its in my garage, going on the truck on Thursday along with my bumper. Friday I get my new wheels on the truck or Saturday if they come in late. I will also be adding new fog lights on Thursday.

I cant wait to get these on. They have been mocking me for a solid week in the garage.

Ya my bad. Only because its in my messy garage and all boxed up. I will snap a picture before I get it on the truck and I am going to document the entire process just for people who are looking to do this in the future. The solenoid relocate is not available yet so we will be doing it from scratch using a modified kit.

Ya its going through some major changes. I was holding off on doing alot of this stuff because I was trying to keep things perfect, but the longer I put things off the more I realized I was not getting a benefit from it.

Its crazy cause I only have about 4 things left before I am done with my build. Oh its hard to even say that!

Just giving you a hard time, no obligation on the boxed up winch pics. I didn't realize only the integrated one was available oh well, it will be that much more to appreciate when your done right?

I'm not sure I believe the 4 things left part though:p. It never ends.

Well that is what I thought to at first. I am a major plan nazi so I have everything mapped out. I realized that all I want to do now to this tacoma is ...
    1. Re-Gear
    2. Front Locker
    3. Seat Covers and Center Console Cover
    4. Upgraded sound system

HOWEVER once I finish these 4 things I am going to start work on either a 1995-97 Landcruiser or a 2004 4-runner. Either way that's going to happen sometime end of this year early next year. So all though this truck will be done I will have another to play with!

    Nice plans!

If it's up for vote I say 80 series. You already have one ifs toy, I think a solid front would be nice but it all depends on what you want to do with it.
