I'll see what is going on - otherwise I'm game to get my PreRunner out on something other than cow trails. I know it does decent at the lease - lets see about at a park.

Anyone else coming up from south of DFW???

I'll be coming up from Granbury. I will probably take 51N through Weatherford and Springtown and then 114 into Bridgeport. I'll have my wife with me so I'll have to plan accordingly. :D

Is there anything else that needs to be brought for the lunch?

Also, any gear I should throw in the truck for wheelin/extracting? I've never really done any planned wheeling.

I have a chain I used to pop a couple people out of the ditch during the ice storms. I guess we'll see...

Taco76087 - what time did you plan on getting there? When did everyone else plan on getting there? The park opens at 8am - so is that the target time for everyone?

First aid kit??? wTf... throw some duct tape on it and lets go! Tools are a must I think. I should probably pick up a handheld CB radio before the meet if that will be the popular form of com.

You don't carry a first aid kit in your truck? That's pretty silly....

I've been the first person on the scene of 3 separate car accidents...

You are right about the first aid kit. I used to carry the basics in my truck when I was a certified EMT- but since then I have gotten lazy about what kind of jump bag I keep around. I traded bandages for bullets.

I grew up on a farm pulling cedars with chains and tractors. I've seen a few break. Always figured something is better than nothing. But if there will be alot of tow straps there then I guess we're covered.

Excellent segway into my next question. Are guns allowed in the park without a concealed permit?

According to the website - no. From what I have seen on here they don't do the most detailed searches... so I'll probably just pack my 45 and leave the SKS at home.

So what time is everybody looking to be at the park or in Paradise to get the convoy going?
