    I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    Yeah, I'm looking for red LEDs so the light doesn't destroy my night vision. Looks like a lot of people have the same idea.

    I had that idea with my car. Too bad it makes it impossible to read a map or ANYTHING else with red/near red ink. :( I'd at least leave the map lights white so if you NEED to read something you can. My car only had the dome light so the red didn't stay there for long.

    Are you just talking about replacing the map/dome lights with LEDs? That's what this thread is about (or at least the dome light part...).

    But to answer your question, I replaced my map and dome lights with LEDs from SuperBrightLEDs.com

    No Longhorn, I already replaced my map and dome lights with LED's as well. I'm talking about the map lights on with dome lights mod. So when you open the door or hit the unlock button on your remote, all three turn on. I'm just trying to figure out if the roof consoles got to come out or if you can do it without taking it off.

    Oh okay. Yeah I don't ever really use my map lights so that's why I just left the LED's in there but if I did us them regularly I would stay with the stock ones.

    well i bought mine to and its awsome its installed and everything but theres one little problem....it doesnt fit into the oem dome light for the 1st gen...still it looks good and i like it without the dome light cover

    Yeah that's kind of how it is on my 2nd gen Tacoma as well. Now I didn't take the whole cover off but the LED's make the plastic pop out a little bit. No biggie though. Still looks good!;)

    Yeah I tried messing with it a little bit but just said screw it. If anyone notices that, they got issues. But I have seen some people where they will put it off to one side, left or right, to make it fit right I guess.:eek:
