Satoshi Mod Gone Wrong

So I decided to do the satoshi mod this weekend and it didn't go too well. Basically, I didn't have enough time dedicated to do a sufficient job on it. I was on call for work this weekend but on Friday night, I received an email saying that I probably would not have to go in to the office at all this weekend.. But what do you know, while in the middle of working on the satoshi mod saturday afternoon, I received a phone call telling me that the new system implementation didn't go as plan. So off to work I go on Saturday and Sunday. Now it's Sunday evening and I still need to bondo it, sand, prime, paint, and finish up some analysis for work. So I rushed finishing it because the Tacoma is my only vehicle and have to work tomorrow morning.

For those who are planning on doing the satoshi mod, make sure you schedule enough time to getting it done right.

While doing mine, I've driven around with it on and off for a few days while doing it and painting it etc... I was careful though

 

Just drive with no grill for a couple days and getthe job done right.

 

Yeah I was thinking about driving without the grille on but the drive to work is 25 miles and all highway. So going 75 mph, I felt my chances of a rock hitting the radiator pretty high.

I won't be able to work on it until mid-June. So if anyone is in the Richmond area and see's my shoddy Satoshi mod, then please take pity on me and don't laugh at it.

 

Men, nothing a little sanding can't fix, and if you have pits.. bondo.
