Matt and I headed back to his place after the trail run yesterday to get to work on his water pump. Here's some pics of the job taking place- the phone died half way through so we didn't get to document the completed project. It all went very smooth and is definitely a do it yourself job- can't see myself ever going to a shop to have my water pump replaced now. Having two people there just made it easier.

Fan Shroud: Two screws hold in the top and the bottom is secured in plastic holders of some sort. Don't know if this is for all 2005+ tacos but i suppose it would be.

    Some guts

Fan and shroud removed gave us more working room and is needed to take pump off.

4WD made a cameo appearance that evening; brought us some gasket sealer from the city. All the shops in Guatay are closing down early on a weekend evening.

I dont get my work done in TJ son! Plus i only paid $139.18 for my water pump and it was our time and labor that installed it!

I say that if your are Mechanically inclined then do it, but if your not then just pay to have it done son!:D

All in all it came out great, no leaks what so ever:eek: i do still have one idler pully sub assembly wheel to replace, it has bad bearings, but that will be in a couple days
