    We've got the Pachaug State Forest, but it's mostly just gravel roads. I've got to get myself a map, I'm sure there are roads I haven't found yet.

    its private land but it ropes into pachaug. the guy told me about some really great private land in franklin as well, but i have not been there. the stuff in vtown is nothing extreme, but fun and at least SOMETHING. he is gonna contact me about franklin and ill let you guys know. gotta make a bigger toyota showing to all these jeep guys, though I impressed them last time =)

    The ones in franklin are great!
    I remember goin with my father when I was 5. went down recently towards the end of winter but it was too icy. the entrance is pretty rough (the one im thinking of)

    I heard from a friend that the powerlines in Bozrah are pretty extreme.

    I'm def. in on that. And yes the powerlines in Bozrah is pretty rough. The norwich industrial park is a good spot but I think it goes into private property in Franklin and it is posted.

    Ian.avila- are you referring the mushroom farm trails in Franklin?

    I know they go all the way out to the other side of the river near Station rd in scotland.

    That tract of land is massive, it reaches from Franklin over to Baltic, Scotland and into Windham. IDK how good the mushroom farm trails are anymore. Last time I was there it was being heavily logged and excavated for gravel.

    Actually now that I thought about it, the last time I was there, I entered at the mushroom farm and came out at pleasure hill IIRC. The last part of the trails was on the side of the "mountain" I guess you'd call it. If you went off the side of it...kiss your ass goodbye. There would be no way to get your truck out if you went off the side.

    Is that private property up there?
