    nerf bars, deckplate mod, billys 5100 all the way round with an aal in back
    today i went to drive my taco and it wont shift out of first its an automatic, any ideas? i drove it to autozone and it shifted (hard) once but other than that i was stuck in first goin 20 mph at 3-4k rpm this is worring me as it had been driving fine

    If there is any on the dipstick, what does the tranny fluild look like? Smell like? Should red. Is it dark brown or black? Does it smell burned?

    actually I've been meaning to ask him about his sig for a while. just happened to be this thread where I did it. my bad. wasn't trying to be a douche. just didn't know where he is going with that? sorry to hear about your tranny bro, good luck w the fix.

    thank, just something for fun is my sig, lol my fluid is dark brownish but at the right level, i talked to my mechanics instructor and he told me the filter could be clogged and to service it and see if that fixes the prob ima do that as soon as i can get a ride to autozone :p

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    It doesn't have a filter per say. It's more of a strainer. But it sounds like you could use a good flush.

    i mean the trans fluid is clearly dark brown should i just take out filter and rinse it or smthing? and do a complete flush?

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    It's not gonna hurt to replace it. This is what it looks like, see the screen in it. It doesn't have filter media in it. I would definitely recommend a good flush though.

    no i have not but this is just incase cuz a rebuild cost that much and my truck 220,xxx its bound to go round 500,xxx so beter get this one while i can
