I like his pads, Vaughn Velocity series, look nice, even tho he chose black and white. He still sucks, he over committs on ever shot, and is about as showy a goalie as possible. He makes a pad save like anyone else, but reacts as if it was some amazing save. This picture couldn't exemplify his showiness any better.

Unfortunately I have to agree. He does commit to every shot thrown at him and that allows for huge rebounds.

That game was all Thomas... Flyers need to try and get him off his game or screen him... or both.

Had they lifted a few of the shots flyers woulda won that in regulation..... Briere had an open net. :(

Shoulda,coulda,woulda... But they didn't. Thomas is fantastic in goal- Vizina trophy coming and possibly the hart trophy as well, best goaltender stats of the league in regular season. Hard to argue with stats. Agreed there are those times routine saves cause you to hold your breath, but look at those not so routine ones he makes on a regular basis. There were so many nights during the season that he kept us alive and in the hunt for the post season. Glad he's in OUR net!

I fell asleep during the Flyers Bruins game last night. Woke up at 11:30 and went to bed.

Wow, you are an idiot. You don't have to like him (there are plenty of players I don't like), but to say he sucks and is over rated is just stupid. You don't get style points for making saves. Did you watch the game last nite? He was unbelievable. He's about to win his second Vezina trophy and set the NHL record for save percentage which was held by Dominik Hasek (another unorthodox goalie).
