North Tx Bridgeport OHV Park meet 5/14/11

My truck does pretty damn well I'm the mud with these new tires. As long it's not to steap of a hill I can make it

 

ill go up and winch you along....

 

I got a feeling I'm gonna break something trying to make it over a hill using speed

 

im not doughting any 2wd of what it can go through, my first truck was a 2wd F-150 and I went mudding all the time in it maybe getting stuck 1/4 of the times so as long as you have good tires and dont try and turn or slow down to much while going through a big mud hole then you shouldnt get stuck.

 

Just got my roll bar mount for the GOPRO Hd camera so we can film some of this stuff!

 

I wanna order some of those camera/video sunglasses to use

 

sweet that will make for some awesome videos

what?? you got to bring the taco for a taco meet thats like bringing a chevy to a ford meet.

im still pissed that im not going to have my sliders or my tiregate for this meet....going to effect the kinds of trails im going to run now cause i dont want to F up my cab.

so do all the pre runners have a rear locker or is it just certian year or style tacos?

 

Only the TRD offroads have a locker.

TRD sports have limited slip, and non-trds just have an open diff.

 

Yea they are I have made some awesome motocross videos with mine. I wanna throw in some trail and offroading... maybe some wakeboarding vids this summer... i have to learn to edit though

I was soo happy to get rid of my open diff... they work alright but one wheel peel gets really annoying

 

ya thats what my F-150 had...the old 1 x 4 loved and hated that truck, made the blackest burn out LINE with it in my old highschool parking lot after taking the bed off so I could do donuts....think those lines are still there and that was like 7 years ago.

 

Thats what I thought, but was talking to a guy who said he had one but didnt have the TRD package so got confused... guess he was just an idiot and didnt know anything about his truck ( someone must have jacked his TRD sticker )

 

I had the positrack in the z71, that thing was a mountain goat... me and some friends went to go get booze one day and one said.... bet you cant smoke these 37's... i had before, but i shredded the tranny right then and there, only had 3rd gear 2200 to fix it with i believe 4.10 gears. waited till shit started to fail till i sold it for the taco. that thing was a beast tho.

But with everything i have done now i love the taco more than anything else... i was getting the brakes done before i came back... the owner was out lookin at it. He goes wow those billis on the back are great shocks... i dont know about those ones on the front tho.. they look like knockoffs might want to check em. I was like those guys make one of the best offroad shock out there right now.. guess hed never heard of Icon. He offered me 22 for the truck too haha

 

lol ya my F-150 had 33'' knock off all terrain tires with a 3" lift on 3" body lift, wound up getting it taken out by a semi in Houston one day after school, semi cut me off and ran into the side off him, but the truck was worth so little of money it was totalled out....actually started it up and drove it onto the wrecker no problem. used the money to buy a 98 celica GT drove that till I moved back here and traded it in for this truck, I had been building this truck and making lists of parts I wanted probably a year before I finally bought it....Ive well surpassed that old wanted list for the truck

 

Could have been an aftermarket locker, but more than likely he's an idiot...

 

So far we have alex flacking out, and colin refusing to drive his truck (puss). Wtf is going on here
