instead of pooh. Find a Ginkgo tree and cram the berries under there. They smell real gross after being in the hot sun.

It sounds like your HOA has some weird rules. I personally bought a house in a subdivision with an HOA because I was tired of my old neighborhood looking trashy with RV's, trailers, boats etc all over the place (and no HOA).

Since you have a copy of the HOA by-laws, make sure you are within the rules and you won't have anything to worry about. If the guys is still messing with you it sounds like you have a legitimate harrassment case.

its easy for the horn to brake lights just find the horn power wire tap it and run it to the brake light power wire. also you can hook the horn up to the radio or tach/speedo that way when the car starts so does the horn:spy:

I prefer to just buy a new horn and hook it up near the location of the "+" wire Im going to use. A couple of times I have seen them hit their "regular" horn thinking it was the issue. NOTHING more funny than hearing 2 horns blowing from their vehicle. :D

As usual, I'm late in reading a thread. When I bought my home new in 96, we asked the builder if there was a HOA. They told us that there was not and never will be. My house is on the first street of a subdivision. We were also told that by phase two and three, all the houses will be 2000 sq ft or larger (mine was 2100 at the time it was built). Mine is still the largest home, they lied. After the developer was done, he turned maintenance over to the Asbury Downs HOA (which he started). Covenants were given out to all new buyers in phases two and three and most of one. But not to us on the first street. Next thing we know we are getting bills in the mail for our dues. We (everybody on my street) tried to fight but the cost was too much. We have been living with these assholes every since. Then about 4 months ago. A RETIRED Navy woman comes walking up to my house. I had some of the neighbors over and we were sitting in the driveway having drinks. She commented on how good our houses looked. She then began to tell us that she was the NEW President of the HOA. She wanted all the homes to have a standard for painting. She had a swatch of colors that were pastels and earth tones. She asked for our opinions...
I began to give her my opinion. I told her that NO ONE will tell me how to paint my house. I put in a brick mail box without their appoval, I put in a shed without their approval and I will paint my house without their approval. She said but your house looks so good. I told her thank you but if I want to paint my house purple, I'm going to, but I won't. There is lawns in the back of the neighborhood that has knee high grass. Rentals with screen missing from the windows. But she is worried about pastels and earth tones. She was removed from the presidency two months later.
