So some people should post up what THEY think is necessary to bring on this trip and I will collaborate them all into a list.

    Heres mine thoughts Per truck:

    20' Tow strap
Some sort of 5 gallon minimum gas container (approved gas container)
At least 5 Gallons spare water ie truck overheats or whatever
1 Full or close to spare tire OR 2 equal size spares
Whatever food and water you want
    First Aid Kit
Basic Tool kit (spare parts if you want to bring any)
Spare Key for the truck, in case anything happens such as being an idiot
Trash Bag, keep the desert clean
    Fire Extinguisher

List for group as a whole, possibly a couple people out of us all:

    Farmer Jack/Hi-Lift
    Jumper Cables
    GPS/Maps of the trail
    Shovel
    Portable Air Compressor
    Guns

I'm pretty sure you each have to get a Range Pass from the Marine base in Yuma. I know they're free. David correct me if I'm wrong. They have free maps too that identify all the markers along the trail and on the bombing range.

I will also be traveling armed. Most likely a sidearm and AR-15.

I'm seeing what info they need, if its nothing to personal I will get passes for eveyone. If they need personal info, I can't.

I thought about camping...what are other people thoughts about camoing out there?

I was checking out these pics again..damn that sand looks like a hell to get through. I noticed a funny line in the link though:

"A fish and wildlife officer told me that sometime the road is so bad he often feels like getting out and setting his truck on fire. (?!)"

seems easy to me. ill just air down to about 20 and stay in 2wd so i can slide around corners unless i need to go into 4. (which i doubt) i would like to be in front or close to it if thats cool. i usually drive faster than most people. i like to think im in the baja ha.

Funny, we were talking about this earlier at tech day. I know you need to acquire three separate permits to traverse the full length of the road. Expect frequent interactions with border patrol
