Hey man where did you get that recurve bow, the one in the first pic of this quote?

Edit: I know those pics might be old, but I've always wanted a good recurve bow, and would like some input from a real person, and not just reviews on a website. :)

    Ink Junky,

That's a Schafer Silvertip made here in Montana by Dave Windauer. 60lb draw @ 28" Very nice! Very Expensive! There are many good traditional bow makers around. Top picks from me are:

    1. Schafer Silvertip (Montana)
    2. Centaur Archery (Montana)
    3. Robertson Stickbow (Montana)
    4. Black Widow

[IMG] Got him today. This is the first week of our season. I watched him strut and gobble for about an hour yesterday but he wouldn't come in range. Today he gobbled one time and came in silent, I didn't see him until he was about 40yds away. Awesome day.

I shot this buck this past deer season around Christmas. My kids wanted to see it before I carried it to my buddy's to get a skull mount done. Not the biggest but still proud of him nonetheless.
