all terrain snow tires ANY sUGGESTIONS??

Anybody have any suggestions for a good offroad / snow tire

 

my toyo A/T held up really good this past weekend up in big bear (it was also snowing) with no chains

 

my firestone destination ats seem to do fairly well in the snow not so much on ice you need a dedicated winter tire to be any good with ice.

+1.....I have and like the BFG ATs very much, and in the 30some inches of snow we've had around here in the past couple of weeks they've done well. They aren't so great on glassy ice, however.

I had the BFG AT's on both my Ranger and Wrangler. Just put them on my Tacoma. They have always worked well in Pennsylvania.

 

im looking for a good all around tire also. stock was bfg a/t and i only have 34,000 on my truck and theyre shot. there has to be something that holds up better than that.
thought about the yoko a/t. its a 50,000 mi tire, or the goodyear wrangler sr-4. anyone running either of those tires?

 

Bridgestone Dueller ATs. I had a set of those on a 4Runner and that thing was downright unstoppable in mud and snow.

 

the toyo is expensive, BFG A/T is expensive, Bridgestone Dueller Reno is expensive, Firestone Destination? Blow out? General Grabber AT2 is not bad and the Nitto Terra Grapple is good too. I'm going to look for a new set of tires too. later on that is... i have the BF Rugged trail... nothing great about it that's for sure..

 

Everybody on here that has the Terra Grappler's on their truck loves them. They can be found for like $130 a tire for 265/70/16, too! Destination A/Ts are in the same price range as the Nittos. Dueler Revo's are about $160 a pop, and the BFG ATs are a little under $200 a tire.

*note, these are all online prices, so you have to factor another $100-$150 in shipping.

 

+1 on the Deuler Revo A/T. I've driven through snow almost up to the rockers and the Deuler's powered through with no problem, and I was expecting to get stuck... They rock on packed snow as well. Best of all, they aren't terribly priced, like the BFG A/T is.

 

Try looking at the Green Diamond Icelanders. Interesting technology put into them. I plan on getting a set when my Michelin's shit the bucket.
