Does anybody know if there is a way to shut the annoying seat belt beeper off on the new 09's? My 07 was fine but when you have groceries or something in the new 09 it is annoying?

i read this on here somewhere.
    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.
this works for the driver's side. for the passenger do the same but have sit in the passenger seat

Yah I found this in another forum.. but it does work great on the 09. It still beeps for a few seconds when you start it, but doesnt continue to beep while you drive around a parking lot.

Now if I can just get the doors to lock / unlock with ignition.. I know its a factory option.. but I havent found a working solution for the 09 yet

Just did this in my 08 and worked like a charm. I went to the passenger seat to do it for that seat as well, wasn't need because it was already turned off from doing it for the drivers seat. Thanks...

I heard it only works in "early" 2011 models. It worked for me in 2011, but some people report it does not work for them.
