SIG has come into heavy favor with federal agencies...Including the SEALS, Air Marshals, Secret Service, Coast Guard, and a litany of others.

The MP5 also is a strong candidate.

they sure do, have to widen the gas port on the barrel and get a slightly larger gas tube, but they work. I've plinked an ipsic plate at 500 yds with my old Mk18. At that distance, it was probably like getting punched really hard, but it still hit.

I heard the teams went in with the SCAR-H, of course I did hear that on FOX news which I might as well and got that info from TMZ.

Wouldn't have been much of his head left with a 7.62x51mm round through it, even if they did use FMJ, which I doubt they would.

I think it's funny how the SEALs get all the credit when JSOC is basically not even mentioned. No one thinks there were Delta boys in on that mission? I guess that's sort of their thing though, all discreet and what not. I think I heard one report mention JSOC copter pilots, but since then it's all been Team 6.

It's a great question but what the heck, it went in his eye and blasted out the back. That's the definition of success.
