Auto Transmission 2010 Taco

    The Auto Transmission on my 2010 hunts for a gear (always lower) when decelerating & then the throttle is pressed to gain speed (under 25 mph). This is a very unsafe feature when crossing an intersection or turning a corner & trying to re-accelerate to gain speed to merge into moving traffic.
    Why can't Toyota re-program the tranny to fix this? I new about this from reading the reviews before I bought it, & didn't think it would bother me. It does, & I'm not the only one!

    They have a re-flash for the ecu that fixes that. Ask your service advisor for that. Good luck.

    I test drove a 2wd auto tacoma and that was one of first things I noticed and it bugged the crap out of me.
