The way I read the post above- a full 29.89% of this board is atheist, agnostic and FSM.

    That's encouraging!

i guess on here it'd be profile to profile.

need to make some brochures and pamplets to distribute electronically and make sure they get email to them at inopportune moments while they are at home. then we need to file for tax exempt status and use the building to chant marilyn manson albums, talk to the dead via weegie boards, drink beer while playing black ops on the projector, and make sure that businesses dont open until after 1pm on saturdays (instead of blue laws, we'll have devil red laws).

Please everyone keep in mind, religion is like a dick, is perfectly normal to have one, and its ok to be proud of it, and hell have fun and enjoy it, but please, dont try to shove it down another persons throat..

I was raised sort-of-catholic but dont practice and havent been confirmed. I guess you could say I enjoy reading the parts of the bible which deal with how someone should conduct their life but disagree with many other parts.

I think going to church (for me anyways) is a racket as churches spend all their money on fancy buildings and busses and detract from their real mission which is supposed to be helping the poor, sick, etc. I like to think that I live a "christian" life without carrying the card.

I don't know how you can accept some parts of the Bible and and reject (disagree with) the others. The whole Bible should be taken as a unit; as the Word of God. (Deuteronomy 12:32, Proverbs 30:5-6, Revelation 22:18-19) To only take the parts that you agree with and disregard the rest, aren't you destroying the integrity of your belief? If you don't believe all of it, why believe it at all? Just my thoughts, dude. FWIW...
