    So I saw the funniest thing on my drive back to the office...
    Its garbage day in my neighborhood, blue plastic cans are lining the streets as always. I'm driving along with the window down and as I pass this giant Ford diesel truck I hear this god awful grinding, scraping noise. I look at the Ford and notice that he has a garbage can wedged under the frame on the passenger side. Guess he must have clipped it coming around a corner or something...anyways, I thought it was funny because he didn't seem to notice it. You would have thought that the noise would have alarmed him and if not that the drag that that thing was creating would have made the steering and acceleration funky...
    I almost wanted to flip around and follow him just to see how long it would take him to notice it was there.

    Many Ford owners have learned to TUne Out all teh noises their trucks make, as the delaer generally tells them its normal. The side affect is, if they hit a large garbage can, they often think its a normal noise the vehicle is making.....

    Yes. For instance, A Toyota owner would have imediately noticed the issue, and fixed the problem. A Chevy owner would have driven to the dealer. A Dodge would have caught fire.
