i have an 06 tacoma and my throwout bearing has been chirping since 70k miles, im not ripping out my trans just to replace the bearing and am curious if anyone knows who makes the oem clutch plate, pressure plate and throwout bearing. been looking at some clutches and i work for volkswagen who uses luk or sachs and ive never herd one of their bearings chirp at all so ive been thinking about going with one of them but would like to keep everything oem on this car.

    thanks

I have 20k miles on a centerforce clutch and it is holding strong. It was super grabby at first, but now it seems to have mellowed out. I replaced it when i had the chirping t/o bearing fixed under warranty at 98k.

i tried to get mine covered under an extended warranty but they said they said they dont cover clutch components, im just trying to get to 120k so i can get new tires and and do the clutch all at once, luckily i have lift i can use.

    thanks for the replies

Mine was covered by my Toyota extended warranty, but i had to pay the parts cost on the clutch.
