Hey, at least it's not in the 2nd Gen section...

 

And what did they recommend? and was this recommendation based on a budget or just overall best? Because if no budget and they recommended the ULK then they didn't give you good advice.

 

Why do you say that? I have the ULK and love mine.

 

I have also really enjoyed my experience with ToyTec. They were very helpful when I reached out to them with questions.

 

There are much better options out there. Its a set of 5100's with an adjustable spring seat. So unless you are dead set on some funky non-standard amount of lift its no better than a set of billies with a spring. IMHO the OME is just as good for much lest money. If you really want to get into a coilover, just about any other coilover out there for the tacoma will be better.

ToyTec is a great company with excellent products and customer service. They also give great discounts to TW members.

Except they ride 10 times better than a stock spring stuffed in a regular 5100 at 2.5" of lift.

 

But they helped me out with something.

 

Yes, but you could put a eibach spring on a 5100 and get the same thing, or get an OME kit for much less money.

Glad they were helpful! I like to see that. I've had nothing but top notch service from Wheelers, All-pro, Icon, and of course relentless.
