    I hate these discussions.
But I will say, watching a 5 minute video of this doesn't make any of us experts. Maybe they had delt with this young lady before. Cops have a sh*t job dealing with all sorts of scumbags and it's hard to gauge how much force to use once the adreniline gets going. Is she going to run? Is she going to fight? Who the f**k knows!

oh and whippersnapper.... Kundalini wants his hand back.

Watch it in slow motion, she brought both fist up and was turning her whole body towards the officer.

According to the article, they had just witnessed her hit her mother before she started walking away...

If I was the officer, I just witnessed her hit someone else, she took off walking away and wouldn't listen to commands to stop, and then she bowed up at me, I'd plow her over too lol

Really important point here is we can't hear any of the interaction. What was said makes a WORLD of difference.

I hate to say it but I think the cop is done. Gonna be hard to make a case for the amount of force he used against a teenager--on the other hand, that tackle might well have been the rude awakening she needed.

And for a time, we see the mom on top of the kid. You could make the case she thought the cop was mom and took a defensive stance--but the audio is what would make a huge difference.

Oh, I'm pretty sure they're not going lightly but they are taught what level of force is allowed.

pushing and shoving her mom, serving alcohol at her high school, having to have the cops called on her? if this was some 15 year old male punk kid this wouldn't have made the news.
way i see it he should have whipped out his taser and tased her ass. She deserved it!
