Soo with all this BS talk, anyone actually romping on their trucks lately??? I cant say that I am. Looking forward to the socal mohave rd trip to brag that I actually use my LT than street queen her.

I think Siebler going to break ur balls if you dont go 2". Me no way in hell with that 2rz motor. Need to keep my shit light. I'm going to doing the outer perimeter cab cage with 1.75" and the "interweb" 1.5" But cage is going to be on hold for a while.

Still workin on the taco and no dez yet? Going to be sick though.

LOL, sounds too hard to figure out what bikes did what in gearing. BTW my 02 yz125 is 5 gears. I like it for the track, not so much for the desert.

I always get the wet dreams of a v8 swap. I look at my mom's corvette and think that LS3 would be so much more awesome in my truck, lol.

Are you getting a role cage? I think its actually more dangerous to have a solid seat if your not gonna cage it. Right now your seats will collapse if you had a roll over and maybe would relieve a little pressure off your head

Why would you want your seat to collapse in a roll over. I would think it would be better to have something that wont collapse to give you a little bit more protection. Having harnesses with out a cage is dangerous. I have the beard supers in my truck. Only down fall I can see is that im 6' 2" and the head rest falls about the lower section of my neck.

yeah, like chris said, there's no prob running a fixed back seat in a DD or un-caged truck. it is dumb to use a harness though, unless the truck is caged. i'll still use the stock seat belt, but my stock seats are not cutting it anymore for my back... so i need to upgarde.

Exactly! With the stock seatbelts your body has the ability to shift sideways and avoid a collapsing roof. With a harness you're stuck where you are and had better have some damn strong tubing and a helmet protecting your noggin.

Ahhh I thought you were gonna use a harness too. Thats what I meant is if you did then your head becomes the roll bar. Thats no good lol

The factory seat may collapse in a roll over but should not collapse in an accident. To help save your back. Iv seen a 07 tundra seat collapse in an accident. My mom had a 07 tundra that was 28days old. Was stopped got rearend by a chevy 2500 doing 45-50mph. Pushed her into a few other cars then into oncoming traffic Total of 7 cars involved. My mom was the first 1 hit and hit from the rear then the only 1 to get hit head on as well. Her seat collapsed. Which screwed up her back some but we think it partly saved her life. We contacted toyota and there were shocked that the seat broke the way it did. Toyota eventually ended up purchasing the truck back from the insurance companies to evaluate the truck after such an extreme accident. Come to find out the seat should not have collapsed. I can say though im glad my mom is here still and that the tundra is what saved her life. Before then she drove a 2000 4runner and I don't think she would be here if she was in that.
