So my buddy has a 2005, I think, Jeep Cherokee with the most amazing leather seats ever. Anyone know if it would be a huge pain to get a set of those guys and put them in my 2010 DC PreRunner? Would I be able to run power to them using existing wiring, but just replace the connectors so they join up? I'm thinking I should be able to mount them by just making a new bracket. Anyways, what are ya'lls thoughts on this idea?

    Or...

Does anyone know of some amazingly plush leather seats that could go in much easier? The TRD seats look nice, but they don't look, "Plush." I might go to the dealer today and just take a sit in them to find out.

I can't imagine that you would be able to get the airbag system in the Tacoma to function correctly without the sensors inside the Toyota seats. If I'm not mistaken, there are airbags in the seats themselves too.

If it were me I would be looking at 4runner seats. Seems like that would be the best chance of being compatible. And I know there are some nicely trimmed out 4runners that should have super comfy seats.

The TRD seats are VERY comfortable for me. But they are hard seats, definitely not plush. Happens to be what I like, but that's me.

Awesome. I really appreciate the info. I'll take a look at the 4 runner seats for sure. I like my seats nice and firm when I'm in my car, but in the truck, since it's actually more of a commuter and it's my "luxury" vehicle, I just want comfort. Kind of backwards now that I think about it. Ah well.

If you get we okoles it will help alot with the comfort. 1/2 of wek okole material does alot for cushion and support......although in hot weather it'll make you sweat like hell
