sorry guys was getting some peanut butter pie.lol. No that's not code for anything was really eating peanut butter pie.

Anyways, I bought my fog light kit on EBay. They're OEM like. I also ended up using a switch that I got at the dealer for $14 so it looks factory. I'm now working in West Caldwell so if you ever want to see the setup, let me know and I'll take my truck to work that day. The install wasn't that bad. The only thing I came across was they didn't put enough wire between the two lights, so I had to splice in some wire to make everything fit.

Josh, I gotta tell ya. I'm getting really jealous of those tires. May have to make a move soon. That and some wheels.

That's one hell of a husband. I gotta admit, I was looking at Audis the other day and for a split second thought about trading in the Taco. Then I snapped back to reality and realized I'd miss it too much.

I'm at Mobility Elevator on York Ave. Just let me know when you want to check it out and I'll bring the truck that day. I've been driving my wife's Camry for the mpg's.

It's great to see another regular cab on here. It was beginning to get lonely.lol I'll also have to show you my home made center console.

I don't know a whole lot about the PIAA's but I don't plan on changing the headlights to it so I stuck with the standard bulbs. Ahh, there's so much you're gonna wanna do.......

    Tinted Windows
    Intermittent Wipers
    Floor Liners
    Bilstein 5100's
    Bigger Tires

    Let the spending begin.lol

Oh and if you're interested in vent visors I'm going to be selling mine soon. They're in-channels but I just don't find I use them. I'm kind of an either fully open or fully closed window person.

I have an Ebay kit and have been very happy with it. Installation was a breeze and it fit well too. However, there was someone on here that bought an ebay kit and it was missing something on both housings that prevented proper installation. Seems there was a quality control issue.

haha yea.. if it wasnt for my signiture i'd forget what they look like..
should be getting it back tuesday though. hopefully its really fixed this time. and for the wheels.. I'm actually really happy with my trd sport wheels now. the tires made a huge difference. I actually just ordered a 5th sport wheel so I can rotate my spare with the others.

I'm down. If I have my truck back I wouldnt mind a stokes trip next weekend.. the Beech Creek meet is the following weekend so it will give me a chance to make sure everything works right.
But I wouldnt mind just a meet and grab some food and beer. I'm out of work at 3:30 during the week and I shouldnt have any other time restraints. let me know what works

well you did the right thing :D

My biggest question is the quality of the lights themselves...... The Ebay OEM lights I got for my Silverado collected water almost right away, and where useless in 3-6 months.....

IF the Ebay OEM Tacoma lights are actually close to real OEM quality, then I will be satisfied, and enjoy the easier installation....

I did see that one thread where that guy was missing pieces, I think it was an older thread, so hopefully that issue is solved...

    Thanks for the feedback....

I would say do your own water proofing. just get some black silicone 2 rtv or whatever and seal it up real good anywhere that water could possibly get in.

my buddy just got new headlights for his FJ.. some projectors with a halo, and after going through mud one time he had dried mud on the projector bulb and it makes a shadow when the lights are on. $300 for lights that leak.. lol
hopefully he can get the company to send him new ones

damn it.. i want that supertop. Ive been thinking about them for a while but since i have a tool box i cant use it until I get a different tool box that wont sit on the top of the bed. do you have any pics of the inside? like where my tool box would sit so I can decide if I can modify something?
whats your opinion of it? is it actually water tight? any problems with it?

i love the top.dont think i would do a hard top again.its great to be able to fold out of the way for larger items and way better that a bed cover.you have 58-1/4" between frame on bedrails.not sure what your tool box measures.i can take pics later and post them up. i never had water inside my truck/only had it on for 2 months. check the besttop thread and see what the guys who had it for awhile say about leaks.
